My Life-Time Friend

Since the day when I could walk,

And have slowly learned to talk,

There were many I have found

But to no one was I bound.

I searched in places everywhere...

Looking for a friend to share

Waiting long for luck to send Me,

my life-time friend.

Then one day I did find you

You came like a bolt from blue!

Thru the dark clouds - a sun beam!!

I only prayed it wasn't a dream.

I like everything you do..

You like what I do too!

We talk about lots of things

When with you my heart sings

The joys I want to share with you

Are numberless and very true.

The times I spend with you will be

Always treasured in my memory

I pray to God that He would keep

Until I go to my eternal sleep

To be with me till the end

You as my LIFE-TIME friend!!
